Fear does not work as long as there is hope.

Hmm. Well, it can be really realistic. You have young actors/actresses that actually play young characters (unlike many American tv shows, I still fuckin can’t get over that Crystal Reed is 27) and most of the writers are young, too. I think that makes it easier for them to write relatable storylines. It can be pretty good. There will be characters you completely understand and love them because you’ve gone through similar shit and you just want to hug them. There are characters that you will HATE but you will eventually love them, too. I really like the episode format. To give every main character their own episode in order to help the viewers connect with them is brilliant. Unfortunately, the show doesn’t stay brilliant. The acting is consistently gr9 and the cinematography is orgasmic but the writing goes downhill few times but I still would recommend it to anyone? At least, give the first generation (first and second season) a try. You can live without the second and third generations, trust me.
the way effy strokes her shoulders, unsure how but wanting to calm her, and emily just pushes her hand back up saying “please comfort me, hold me together.” seriously, “fire” had some of the best acting, ever.
